    The Gwangju Uprising was a student-led urban rebellion against dictatorship notable for mass combative but largely unarmed protest. Perhaps over 2,000 people were killed in state suppression of the protest. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gwangju_Uprising?wprov=sfla1
