      Reporting from @972mag last year noted that 90% accuracy was seen as adequate by the Israeli military for Lavender, an AI system meant to categorize all Gazans as either members or non-members of Hamas.

    Non-members of Hamas were put on the list for numerous reasons, according to anonymous workers in the program: those w/ "similar communication patterns": incl. police, civil defense workers, militants’ relatives, those w/ similar names, and users of discarded phones.
