  1. Trump immunity ruling at SCOTUS and Cannon's Independent Prosecutor dismissal are major moves. Those of us envisioning scenarios for a shift to authoritarianism need to consider the US judiciary as a possible accelerator, rather than a break.

      @beabolibre It's rare for institutions to voluntarily give up their powers, but that's what the judiciary did in Trump v. United States.
