              There are numerous reasons to believe that it's more likely for the US government to stop Israel's wars than Israeli society itself. This is true despite the enthusiasm for war displayed by both Biden and Trump.

          Stopping the genocide in Gaza, an invasion of Lebanon, and a regionwide war with Iran must all be key priorities for us. And we must choose strategies that work outside of the 2024 election because November might be too late.

        On this issue, the politics of antiwar activists and Palestinian solidarity are aligned with moral dissenters in the government (those who don't want blood on their hands) and strategic foreign policy analysts (who just want to avoid a disastrous war).
