      I don't know Picasso’s personal biography well enough to say which of these things affected him more. But I'm damn sure that Germaine Gargallo, soon to be P's lover, was traumatized AF.

        I've seen La Vie, Picasso’s painting my whole life, and I'm dumbstruck that I'm just learning the attempted murder side of this story. And grown adult writers in the 21st century are still writing about "the woman that drove men crazy."
