        Twenty minutes ago, because I will soon teach about the French Resistance, I saw a re-enactment of people sneaking hunted children across the Swiss border. Then, in this story, I saw the same deadly chase, in real video from today, supported by my own government.

    Not repeating that Nazi/Vichy horror, resisting thst horror, teaching our children "Never Forget, Never Again." it's really the most unifying vision any of those four governments have to offer. And that ideal is torn to shreds, along with scores of Palestinian bodies everyday.
