        The fact that liberals and progressives cannot jointly stop an Democratic president from doing something they both reject shows fundamental flaws in our party system, our over-powerful presidency, and our system for debating foreign policy.

          While liberals have been way too deferential to President Biden and far too willing to focus on the "better than Trump" argument, the left's failure to mount a primary challenge also contributed to this disaster.
