    1. I'm actually all for solidarity among journalists, but it's pretty striking how advocacy for journalists imprisoned by Russia is treated very differently by the NYT social media policy than advocacy for journalists shot dead by Israel.

        It's especially important for prominent journalists to use their platforms and for white journalists to use their privilege and perceived impartiality to shine this spotlight.
