  1. The @CDCgov researched the "burden" of COVID in the United States, how many people were really infected, hospitalized, and killed.         Had it been updated, we might have paid attention to the millionth COVID death DURING the Omicron wave. And we could now discuss the relative death tolls of 2020, 2021, and 2022 this week with fairer comparisons.
