  1. Switching to Mastodon (or in my dual using both) has a big automatic to DSLR camera vibe. Lots of new buttons and old ones in unfamialiar places, but a wider lens and more access to controls.

      It also has that feeling of running iTunes for the very first time, before it spider-crawled your hard drive and imported all your music. Like, will this empty grid ever match my CD player? Yes, yes it will.
