      @VirginiaBuysse The app and servers are owned by Elno (not worried about surveillance but love that it sounds like Elmo and also like "Hell No!") but we are the network in terms of connected creators who can port our connections and archived tweets onto a better service.

    @VirginiaBuysse And the employees are mostly released and could easily bring their expertise to newly funded projects and enterprises. It's a question of whee funding/nonprofit/cooperative/enterprise structures are created.

      @VirginiaBuysse But we as users have to be extremely selective about our expectations for such structures or we will lose the next platform. Decentralization, portability, and automated cross-posting are all vital hedges.
