I have seen exactly zero commentaries on how Thurgood Marshall might have hung onto the Court for 1.5 more years and spared us Clarence Thomas. (He outlived the 1993 inauguration.) Can't tell if this is just misogyny or also the absence of social media.Permalink On twitter.com

Thomas and Ginsburg created the role of civil rights lawyer-turned-Supreme Court Justice. Integral to that role was faith in a form of non-partisanship that no longer prevails in the USA.On twitter.com
