        @shanley People in this lower elite lack much of the economic power of the capitalist class, but they can (1) aggregate politically to maintain their relative privilege; (2) aggregate their money to receive the money extracted by full-time capitalists.

          @shanley But neither is mandatory, and capturing this outsized political and economic power, as well as the organized influence that professionals exercise in their areas of expertise, is vital for any resistance project.
