For this analysis, the UDP and MAS-IPSP comprise the left. The neoliberal period runs from Paz Estenssoro to Mesa. And Áñez and the two-day military interregnum in 2019 are the "Right Interim" government. Rodriguez (no deaths) is not categorized.Permalink On twitter.com

There are even larger variations among presidencies: two presidents (Rodriguez, Arce) avoided state killings of protesters. Two more (Morales, Mesa) saw fewer than 3 per year.
