      Three things changed between Nov 21 and Mar 22: Omicron rendered superspreaders more likely, and vaccines less effective (but still usually life-saving), and finally Dems decided they needed a win on COVID before the midterms.

          Walensky, Pelosi, Biden, and Psaki are motivated by the same "COVID is over" bravado now that infected (metaphorically and literally) the Trump White House in fall 2020.
