      To put this in relevant terms for the left, Soviet connections and the Domino Theory are insufficient to explain the US conduct of the Vietnam War. Colonialism, racism, and desire for geopolitical domination within the USA explain that.

        As time goes on, observers who split the blame with NATO are increasingly obscuring the openly expressed signs that Russia's government is not seeking a neutral Ukraine but either a destroyed or annexed territory.
