    If you learned more about Paul Manafort than Ukraine, someone wasted your time. If you don't know that the US and Russia abandoned the Intermediate Nuclear Forces treaty, but do know how Bill Barr summarized the Mueller report, someone recklessly disregarded your future safety.

      This would be true even if the scandal led to Trump's impeachment and removal. What was truly important wasn't HOW an alliance was built between the US and Russian presidents, but just WHAT CONSEQUENCES such an alignment would have the world.
