        One strategy is to pitch scenarios where one subcategory of weapons goes head-to-head with the same category on the opposite side.

          If anything the current nuclear threats should remind us why these weapons should never be used. Not why they should be used more.

            Either such authors are engaged in threat inflation in the interest of thr defense industry, or they buy into a masculine "whose arsenal is bigger" competition, even when said arsenals must never be used. I'm not sure which is worse.
