      This, the complaint lays out, means that employees, their positions and performance are spoken of in Crude racist language, naming Blacks as animals and slaves, and evoking the plantation and slave ship as metaphors.

          Tesla and this plant are new institutions in a state that knew slavery of Indians but almost African Americans. Therefore, this is not a cultural hangover but the deliberate cultivation of dark prejudices to divide and rule a work force.
