  1. Bolivian authorities have arrested Marco Pumari, a leading figure in 2019 protests against Morales, for "electoral crimes" related to the forcible interruption of vote counting in Potosí, and subsequent burning of the electoral offices, on the day after the election.

            Ultimately, the protest not only stopped the count, but burned out the Departmental Electoral Tribunal's (TED) building.                         Subia's brother Freddy was mistakenly arrested and reported both beating and "a struggle" during his arrest.
