        1. Leaving aside responsability for the Sacaba massacre, Jaime Zurita's statements point to a police high command committed to replacing Evo Morales on Nov 8, far from neutral on Nov 11, and ready to annhilitate ("aniquilar") opponents on Nov 13. @CarwilBJ/1462910132266971142

This disrupts the cover narrative that the police were "trying to avoid bloodshed" thru the mutiny, "awaiting a presidential successor," and "restoring the rule of law."

For a newly installed commander to promise mutineers the support of "absolutely all of the police command" and to treat the RJC as comrades reflects that he believed he was part of a well-connected effort to steer the government on November 11.

Remember that at this moment, there was no president, so this implies the police command thought it would have a voice in deciding who they would be.
