        @JaimeAlbarraci7 So, there have been numerous disqualification cases. Some years ago, one could be disqualified for being under criminal indictment. Now there needs to be a sentence.       @JaimeAlbarraci7 My view then and now is that this kind of administrative mismanagement charges shouldn't be disqualifying and the politicization of justice is bad for democracy, but that there are crimes worthy of disqualification.

    @JaimeAlbarraci7 Also, Bolivia's entire justice system is overburdened and glacially slow. When candidates orchestrate political violence, there ought to be a mechanism to disqualify them from office before a four-to-ten-year criminal proceeding unfolds.
