@cstalberg A half million doses of vaccine arrived today and sufficient vaccines for the adult population are slated for March thru May. @cstalberg COVID deaths are severely undercounted in Bolivia but the excess mortality there is ~30,000 deaths in 2020 alone. Equivalent to 900k in the US. So over twice as bad as in the US. Very much the product of economic inequality and inadequate medical resources.Permalink On twitter.com

@cstalberg To clarify: Current vaccination plans mean that US started two months ahead of Bolivia, is currently ahead (w first doses to 14%) but could complete adult vaccination well behind Bolivia.Permalink On twitter.com
