@EduardoEnrque11 Wasn't I just speaking of "rushing into white hat / black hat takes"… Seriously, the model of "permanently tainted by association" that drives this journalism could easily disqualify anyone in Latin American politics if applied even-handedly.

@EduardoEnrque11 Leaving aside individuals, Pachakutik and CONAIE deserve more nuanced takes that recognize their role in representing indigenous interests against both local elites and foreign corporations.
