      The rapid count system is new, a replacement for last year's disputed TREP system. It was criticized by unofficial observers but also was one of the few election-wide crosschecks on irregularities.

        I suspect this may be one of many small stories that is immediately spun into both sides' narratives of fraud and cheating by the other.
