Above us on the list, there are just a few major urban counties… Only Miami-Dade (FL), Charleston (SC), Galveson (TX), Maricopa (Phoenix, AZ), and Duval (Jacksonville, FL) have more cases per capita than us.

Put differently, only Miami-Dade (FL), Maricopa (Phoenix, AZ), Broward (Ft. Lauderdale, FL), Hillsborough (Tampa, FL), Duval (Jacksonville, FL), and possible Los Angeles (CA) have more recent cases than us.

We've stepped back one phase in reopening (to Phase 2), but Nashville is in neither public panic mode, nor on the national front pages, where we are edged out by fellow Southern states. But, yeah, the numbers are bad.
