      Note how none of this reporting seems to lead to a wider investigation of how women were and are treated on Capitol Hill. Nor how Biden responded to this environment, which evidently did not include holding his assault-prone colleagues accountable.

        What the Clarence Thomas/Anita Hill and Brent Kavanaugh/Christine Blasey Ford hearing have in common is the unspoken fact that many on these committees are also guilty of harassment and assault.
