    (a bunch of things "we're just finding out now" are in those early reports, like this: "some patients can present with gastrointestinal symptoms … asymptomatic infection … Early infections with atypical presentations may have been missed.")

      I would point out that reliable translation of the published scientific literature into journalistic reports is an extremely valuable resource, often done by experts on Twitter, but too seldom done in mainstream reporting.
