@kenaviba @roblaser Using a conventional definition of paramilitary (a cohesive armed force), there's not a lot of examples to draw on: There was an armed pro-MAS group in Sep 11, 2008 clashes that led to the Porvenir massacre, but they killed no one (and the MAS suffered all but two of the deaths)Permalink On twitter.com

@kenaviba @roblaser Treating these cases as critically of the MAS as possible, you could say that 15 political opponents of the MAS were killed by unarmed pro-MAS movements. But then you have to acknowledge the coincident killing of 13 MASistas in 2006-08, and the many deaths this year.Permalink On twitter.com
