      If it was previously unclear whether this effort was an attempt to decapitate the MAS-IPSP leadership, or a broader attempt to intimidate opposition organizing. It is now obviously the latter.

    This builds on earlier sedition charges for arrested protesters, an anti-foreigner dragnet in November, and intimidation of journalists in November and December.
