@AsaCusack @jderpic The interview from María Eugenia Choque Quispe offers a few relevant points: Headline: She admits irregularities and denies fraud. 1/
-
@AsaCusack @jderpic She claims that Evo Morales's appointee ordered the TREP shutdown against her wishes. Further that she ordered it to be restarted but was told the team had left. 2/
-
@AsaCusack @jderpic Choque Quispe doesn't view the unaudited server as a source of fraud. OAS said they couldn't certify data passed through that server. Urged investigation. 3/
-
@AsaCusack @jderpic Choque Quispe is adamant "there wasn't fraud" but context suggests she means TSE didn't miscount votes. 4/
-
@AsaCusack @jderpic Choque Quispe urges an evaluation of out-of-country registration irregularities, tally by tally audit of votes for miscounts. 5/
-
@AsaCusack @jderpic Okay, now my opinion: the interview deepens the evidence of political interference and is consistent with one of my tweeted interpretations of her prior statement. 6/
-
@AsaCusack @jderpic There were politically motivated orders that compromised the neutrality of a closely watched controversial election against the wishes of the chief electoral authority. 7/
-
@AsaCusack @jderpic This big, politically risky intervention offers only two things: 1) it undermines the credibility of the election but 2) it gives the necessary time for falsifying records before they entered the system. 8/
-
@AsaCusack @jderpic After this point in the narrative, the OAS report proposes there were means to insert data, time signatures suggesting 5% of the votes were entered separately, and serious statistical differences between these and the rest of the sample.
-
@AsaCusack @jderpic We could say we don't have don't have "proof" of fraud but "signs" of manipulation. Or that we have circumstancial evidence but not a "smoking gun." 10/
-
@AsaCusack @jderpic But I stand by the claim that not just shutting down the TREP but cutting the TREP team off the internet and possibly cutting their power is a grotesquely high-stakes move that makes no sense unless it was designed to enable manipulation of votes. 11/
-
@AsaCusack @jderpic It may be some time before we either have smoking gun evidence or a mutually trusted impartial body to investigate this, but the preponderance of evidence remains on the side of deliberate manipulation, from my POV. 12/12
