    @pauloCanning @zakavkaza @clairefrwordley @Alf_RomeroM @noe_z So, Bolivian Supreme-level judges are elected but the slate of nominees on the (theoretically nonpartisan) ballot is controlled by the legislature. Given their supermajority, the MAS-IPSP had absolute control.
