@EvoReef @clairefrwordley "companies and producers must identify and eliminate deforestation from supply chains." This is what Bolivian biologist Velez-Liendo (whom Wordley quotes) is talking about, dropping the incentive to increase beef and soy production via destroying forests.

@EvoReef @clairefrwordley Now I would go further and say, it's not enough to put your meat dollars elsewhere, whether by buying certified meat or becoming vegetarian. Northern consumers ought to send those dollars somewhere they can offset global inequality.
